I know that makes me a big jerkface, but it's true. I need time to teach stuff! Until then, here's part one of our puzzle: how to login/signup for turnitin.com.
1. Go to turnitin.com
2. Click 'new user' at the top right-hand side.
3. Under students, click 'create a user profile.'
4. Go to 'new account' and click 'student.'
5. Enter your class ID (found below) and password(also below). Follow the instructions to complete your registration. You should see the editorial assignment and the due date when you click on our class. Please do not upload anything yet.
6. Any items uploaded to turnitin.com should be in .rtf format. You can accomplish this by opening your essay, clicking 'save as' and choosing 'rtf or rich text format' as your file type.
